6 New Outdoor Furniture Launches in 2025
It seems like all of our favorite design studios and retailers have dropped new sectional sofas and side tables over the past few months if not days. To help you get a handle on all of the powder-coated aluminum, weather-resistant wicker, and plush Sunbrella-covered cushions fresh on the market, we plucked the most noteworthy brand additions and organized each by newness, below—and there’s more to come. If summer soirees and backyard barbecues aren’t already on your mind, they will be shortly.
Warp and weft isn’t hard to find at Serena & Lily, especially in its new outdoor furniture introductions. We’re expecting a larger drop in March, but wanted to get the party started with this curvy chaise and classic resin and teak lounge chair.

The spring collection from Design Within Reach includes a lot of exciting additions inside the house, but it definitely doesn’t ignore the backyard. Hay put a twist on the Palissade Collection with recycled polyester cord (a softer spot to land) woven around the metal frame, and DWR brought in Muuto’s Settle collection, designed by Anderssen & Voll. The latter is crafted with a light powder-coated steel frame and finished with putty-hued cushions filled with quick-dry foam.

Crate & Barrel’s Ipanema outdoor collection, crafted from all-weather resin wicker and curved around the edges, is inspired by palm-leaf baskets. The shapely style is available in a sofa, sectional, and chair, and there’s a coffee table and dining table to round out the group.

CB2 has already debuted more than 100 outdoor designs for 2025. There’s almost too much good to choose from, but we’re particularly fond of this Ceci Thompson-designed sofa that takes cues from Art Deco style. The cushions wink at French ticking, and the Sunbrella fabric ensures the pattern will be fade resistant over time. And boucle parks by the pool in this all-weather, seat-and-a-half daybed by Gonçalo Campos. But that doesn’t mean we aren’t eyeing this Italian-made umbrella, which looks like it was plucked directly off a beach in Liguria.

West Elm’s leggy seating is the standout in its 2025 outdoor collection. The Sorrento lounger and Portofino chair call to mind easy breezy ’70s summers on the beach. The all-weather wicker lounger’s purple colorway is very Missoni-esque, and we love the classic blue cushions on the contract-grade (re: durable) chair.

Does it get any more ’60s Mad Men than Rejuvenation’s Buena Vista collection? The mint green hue keeps things fresh, while the brown lends a certain sophistication. The cushions are stain and mildew resistant, too. If you lean modern, the teak Vaughn collection would be more your speed. It’ll patina beautifully over time, and offers the perfect perch for a sunset pint.
